When was the last time you made a contribution to your superannuation?
As we are getting to the end of September we should be seeing our super funds increase. But for some, this isn’t the case. Due to the current covid situation, many individuals were forced to take out a portion of their super funds for daily living costs. Now as lockdown has lifted we are seeing many people return to a covid normal life. We want to make that extra contribution to our super for retirement or in case of other emergencies. If you haven’t already done so, now is a good time and contact your Accountant for advice.
Employees are also reminded that tomorrow is the deadline to make super contributions for their employees. And anyone without a super fund will need to request a staple super fund from the ATO.
